Bromley RSPB Members' Group organises a wide range of events, including indoor meetings, car and coach outings, local walks and fairs.
Bromley & Bexley RSPB Wildlife Explorers Group organises outings and meetings for children.
INDOOR MEETINGS: These are held on the second Wednesday of the month at the Central Library, High Street, Bromley (not July and August).
The meetings start at 7.45 pm but the hall is open from 7.15 pm when sales goods are usually available.
We finish around 9.00 pm. The meetings usually consist of a slide show, raffle and a summary of recent news and notices.
Please bring along used stamps and foreign coins which we collect to raise money for the RSPB.
FIELD TRIPS: Full details of field trips will be given at a preceding indoor meeting.

Coach and car outings depart from outside
the United Reformed Church, Widmore Road, Bromley, leaving at the time stated.
This is between Market Square and Kentish Way.
Coach and car outings are all day affairs and members must be self sufficient.
Ensure that you have protective clothing, appropriate footwear, a flask, sandwiches, etc. Please keep the coach clean by taking a spare pair of shoes to change into and a plastic bag for muddy boots.
LOCAL WALKS: All local walks start at the time stated and usually end between 12.30 - 1.00 pm.

Indoor Meeting - Christmas Social. A fun evening of slides and quizzes, with cheese and wine.
Always a popular event and a good way to socialise with other members of the group.
Sunday 16 December
Coach Outing - Dungeness, Kent. 8.00 am - 5.30 pm. A slightly different trip to normal, the famous 'Christmas Special' outing to Dungeness has a long history within Bromley RSPB Group.
It combines great birdwatching around
the RSPB reserve, the observatory area and the sea, with a lunchtime pub meal. Likely birds include Smew, Divers, rarer Grebes and birds of prey.

Car Outing - Riverside Country Park, Medway. Meet Widmore Road, Bromley, 8.00 am. Good site for wildfowl and waders, with a large flock of Brent Geese. Facilities include a large visitor centre, with tearoom and toilets.

Coach Outing - Stodmarsh, Kent. 8.00 am - 6.00 pm. Extensive wetland and reedbed. Good for Bitterns, Bearded Tits, Cetti's Warblers, waders and wildfowl. Facilities include four hides, toilets and the option of a pub lunch.

Local Walk - Cudham area. Meet Cudham Recreation Ground car park at 9.30 am. Leader: Rosina Cole

Coach Outing - Minsmere, Suffolk. Famous RSPB reserve, with wide variety of habitats allowing a large number of species to be seen in a day. Facilities include a nature centre, with shop, cafe and toilets, and several hides.

Local Walk - Sydenham Hill Wood. Meet at the Dulwich Woodhouse public house, at the junction of Sydenham Hill and Crescent Wood Road, at 9.30 am. Leader: Geoff Holder. An interesting Local Nature Reserve, run by the London Wildlife Trust.

Local Event - Keston Countryside Day. A fun afternoon on the green by the Fox and Greyhound pubs, from 2.00 to 5.00. Local environmental groups will be represented, along with countryside displays and activities. Our sales team will be there
